eNews For The Week of August 22, 2021

    Sunday's Bulletin

    The Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost
At 10:00am EDT in the Nave, there will be In-Person
Holy Eucharist on Sunday, August 22th.

    New In-Person Worship Guidelines

Due to a resurgence of COVID-19 in the Danville/Pittsylvania County area Epiphany has re-implemented certain guidelines for in-person worship.

Click HERE to view the new Guidelines.
Please join us for Coffee Hour outside today after the service.

An Update & Announcement About Music

All of the paperwork for a non-lottery H1B Visa has now been filed with the State Department. We should be informed so whether or not this Visa will be approved. Until a Visa is secured Pei-Yi may not work in the United States. Please keep this whole situation in your prayers daily. We will do what we can to have music on Sundays and are grateful that Bob Sutter has been available some Sundays.

Unfortunately there is NO music this Sunday.

    Sacred Grounds Coffee House

Due to the COVID-19 resurgence unfortunately we must postpone the grand opening of this new opportunity to gather socially during the week. For now we will set our sights on opening Wednesday September 1st from 10:00am to noon. Please look for updates about the grand opening of Sacred Grounds each week in the eNews.

    Mid-Week Holy Eucharist Reboot

We hope to be able to begin again on Wednesday September 1st at 12:00pm  in the MacClintock Chapel.

Save the Date: This year's Crop Walk will be on Sunday afternoon, October 3rd. With your help Epiphany raised $1,267  last year by participating in the Crop Walk. Let’s see what we can do in 2021! Sign-up details coming soon.

    Ushers/Greeters Still Needed

Start Sunday mornings off right by greeting your fellow parishioners and visitors as they arrive. We still need more of you to complete this critical ministry team. No prior experience is necessary, but if you have been an usher/greeter previously please do sign up.

A link to the online sign-up sheet is here: Usher / Greeter Team

*Usher/Greeters will serve in pairs each Sunday and will do what ushers have always done - greet people as they arrive, hand out bulletins, count heads, pass the plates, and generally be available to assist.

    * There will be training for the usher/greeter team that will be fun, informative and ongoing.
