    Memorial Day Weekend Special Event

On Sunday, May 29th after the service we will dedicate the painting Body and Blood by Janet McKenzie in the Gallery.

As you may recall, during the pandemic the vestry fulfilled a long overdue commitment of the congregation to memorialize the late Dr. Keith H. Williams, M.D. who passed away unexpectedly in November 2013. The painting is that memorial and will hang on the wall in the Gallery as you approach the Nave.

Our special guest preacher will be the Rev. Cn. Willis Foster who is the Canon for Diversity for the Diocese. So please make plans to be with us for this important day and event.

    Request for Box Fans

Adult Services division of the Danville Department of Social Services (DDSS) is in need of new electric box fans. During the hot and humid summer months, some of their clients rely on fans to circulate air and stay cool. Epiphany would like to continue lending its support to DDSS by asking our members and friends to purchase new electric box fans. Please bring your fans to church and place them in the parlor by Sunday, June 5. If you would like to make a monetary contribution, one of our Outreach shoppers will take care of purchasing fans for you. If you have questions, please text or call Laura Sadler at 434-770-8367. Outreach volunteers will deliver our donated items to Social Services on Monday, June 6 before the scorching heat of summer arrives.
    Thank you for your support.

Please let us know if you have any family members that are graduating this year. Epiphany would like recognize them in our bulletin on the first Sunday of June. You can click the link to fill out the form that is in our eNews, or you can email with your graduates name, relationship to you and any other information. The due date to submit your information is 12:00 noon on June 1, 2022.

    Wednesday Coffee & Eucharist!!!

Wednesday noon Holy Eucharist in the McClintock Chapel is back for the month of May before Fr. Jon goes on sabbatical. If you need a ride call/email/text Fr. Jon.

And Sacred Grounds Coffee too! Come to the parlor anytime from 10:30am to just before noon on Wednesdays in May to enjoy a hot beverage and chat with Fr. Jon and your friends.

    Fr. Jon Sabbatical

As you may already know I will be on sabbatical this summer (June, July & August). The Rev. Jeannie Driscoll, who is canonically resident in the Diocese of North Carolina, will serve as supply clergy on most Sundays and be on-call for pastoral emergencies. The wardens and vestry will be in charge while I'm away. Jennifer Hooper will keep things humming in the office.

What you may not know about clergy sabbaticals  is that they have been a standard part of clergy Letters of Agreement in the Diocese for some time now, as they are in most Dioceses of the Episcopal Church. To quote the Rev. Cn. James Harlan, " the product of a clergy sabbatical is a renewed priest." This renewal includes time for rest, reflection, recreation, travel and study.

My sabbatical will be based out of our home in Santa Fe with some travel around the southern Rocky Mountains. The focus of my study will be two of the "Five Diocesan Initiatives for Mission, Vitality and Baptismal Ministry" - Becoming Beloved Community and Evangelism. For more information about the 5 Initiatives please see this weeks eNews.

    Contact our Senior Warden

Wanda Vaughan wants you all to know that you can be in touch with her if you like, especially this summer while Fr. Jon is away on sabbatical.  You may email her at   or call her at (434) 429-9599.

Summer work schedule change for Jennifer

    No Streaming This Summer

Because we are unsure about when our upgraded sound system will be installed and ready the Sunday service won't be streamed this summer. We're sorry for the inconvenience and will stream again when Fr. Jon returns. The new system will provide a much better experience for those who watch or listen to the service each week. Thank you!

    Confirmation & Church Membership

Confirmation and new member classes will begin in September. This is not a long process and will be engaging and interactive. If you are interested in being confirmed and joining the Episcopal Church (or even just curious about it) please contact Fr. Jon.

    Usher/Greeters and Coffee Hour Hosts
