Morning Prayer Bulletin for This Sunday

Online Zoom Holy Eucharist: Join us this Sunday, December 6th at 10:00am EST via Zoom. Everyone must be logged-in or have called in before 10:00am. I suggest doing so by 9:55am. All Zoom attendees will be “admitted” from the waiting room as one group at 10:00am. Unfortunately if you are late we will likely not be able to admit you.

Update re: Positivity Rate and In-Person Worship: As of this writing the “7-day Positivity Rate PCR Only” was 12.8% for Danville-Pittsylvania County. This is well above the level at which Bishop Haynes’ Medical Advisory Team stated “ ... in-person worship should not occur.”

As previously announced we are now prerecording the services, which will be to view on the parish website EpiphanyEpiscopal.org beginning about 5:00pm each Saturday evening. Each Sunday morning at 10:00am this same service will be streamed via Zoom with brief “live” announcements from Fr. Jon. Instructions for logging-in or calling in to Zoom are below.

Family Christmas Greetings: We would like to put together a short video with Christmas Greetings from each of you to the rest of the parish. Please use your own device to record a 10-15 second video greeting and email that to the office at The deadline is Friday December 18th and you can begin sending those now.

Christmas Cheer: The Danville Division of Social Services has requested our assistance in providing Christmas cheer to children in foster care. Will you help us? Due to the pandemic, we have organized a unique way to complete our Christmas cheer project. To select a gift for one of our six foster children/teens, please phone, text, or email Laura Sadler. She can reached at 434-770-8367 or her new email address is She will be glad to help you select the gift(s) you would like to purchase. Please return your unwrapped present(s) to the church by Saturday December 12, and remember to attach the name of the foster child to each present. If you would like to make a monetary donation, our elves will gladly do the shopping for you.

Laura will be stationed outside the Jefferson Street entrance on the following days to collect your gifts:

    Thursday December 10th from 8:00am-11:00am

    Friday December 11th from 11:00am-3:00pm

    Saturday December 12th from 8:00am-12:00pm

If these times are not convenient for you, please contact Laura to make other arrangements. Thank you so much for helping to create a magical Christmas for our foster children.

Key Fobs: Recently the computer which controls the programming of the key fob system had to be replaced. This required the reprogramming of all fobs. In this process we have discovered that some fobs which have been reprogrammed are no longer recognized by the system. If this happens to you please contact the office about getting a new fob.

New Mailbox: It is not widely know that Epiphany has a new and secure mailbox. You may drop pledge payments or other “mail” in the box if you wish. The box is located on the wall opposite the intercom call button outside the 115 Jefferson Street entrance.
